Delta Force, on my way!
- Delta Force
DA Portrait DeltaForce

The Delta Force Elite Soldier, or simply Delta Force, is the elite infantry unit of the United States Army, and represents the best of all Special Forces. The Delta Force infantry has stealth detection capability.[1]

OverviewEdit

Tangos in sight.
- Delta Force

Well trained and armed with a submachine gun, the Delta Force commando is deadly efficient at taking and defending a building. He is the perfect unit for scouting, capturing, and performing stealth-detection missions.

While not as strong as the Optical Camo soldier or the Future Force Warrior, the Delta Force soldier is cheaper than both and easier to mass.

BackgroundEdit

1st Special Forces Operational Detachment-Delta (1st SFOD-D), popularly known as Delta Force, is one of the United States' secretive tier-one counter-terrorism and Special Mission Units. It was formerly listed as the Combat Applications Group by the Department of Defense but has since been officially re-designated the Army Compartmented Elements (ACE).

While 1st SFOD-D is administratively supported by USASOC, it falls under the operational control of the Joint Special Operations Command. Delta Force and its Navy counterpart, the Naval Special Warfare Development Group, are the United States military's primary counter-terrorism units.
