The Delta Force Elite Soldier, or simply Delta Force, is the elite infantry unit of the United States Army, and represents the best of all Special Forces. The Delta Force infantry has stealth detection capability.[1]
Overview[]
“ | Tangos in sight. - Delta Force |
” |
The Delta is exceptionally powerful in close quarters combat and can devastate enemy infantry with ease when given the chance. They are excellent at fighting garrisoned infantry from within, for recon, capturing POWs or for stealth detection. They aren't as strong as the Optical Camo soldier or the Future Force Warrior, but they do a lot for the price they ask.
Background[]
1st Special Forces Operational Detachment-Delta (1st SFOD-D), popularly known as Delta Force, is one of the United States' secretive tier-one counter-terrorism and Special Mission Units. It was formerly listed as the Combat Applications Group by the Department of Defense but has since been officially re-designated the Army Compartmented Elements (ACE).
While 1st SFOD-D is administratively supported by USASOC, it falls under the operational control of the Joint Special Operations Command. Delta Force and its Navy counterpart, the Naval Special Warfare Development Group, are the United States military's primary counter-terrorism units.
Abilities[]
Capture Selected unit(s) will capture all enemy POWs in the target location designated on the map. |
Crawl Selected unit will change to crawl stance. A crawling soldier is much harder to detect for enemy units, but reduces speed. Ability can only be used if the infantry is in standing stance. |
Ambush Selected unit(s) will hide behind cover, such as trees or civilian vehicles, to do more damage. |
