Drones are unmanned vehicles that can either be remote controlled or remote guided vehicles, or they can be autonomous vehicles which are capable of sensing their environment and navigating on their own. The word "drone" colloquially refer to the unmanned combat air vehicle. Since they do not have a pilot inside them, they do not produce any when destroyed.
In Act of War, two of the factions, the Task Force Talon and the Consortium, use unmanned vehicles as part of their assets.
