Engagement, also known as Deathmatch is a game mode in Direct Action and High Treason.

Overview[]

  • Engagement Mode is offline only.
  • It is possible to add a number of AI players depending on the map. Their team options, colors and starting factions are fully customizable.
  • It is possible to type Cheats in the secured line for various effects, though any player is still limited to assets for their starting faction and cannot gain access to another arsenal.
  • Naval units and the Shipyard are not available in High Treason.

Additional Customization Options[]

A wider range of match customization have been introduced in High Treason.

  • Game Speed: Self-explanatory. (50%. 75%, 100%, 150%, 200%)
  • Share Vision with Allies: Determines whether if players' visions are independent or shared to all players on the same team.
  • Enhanced Unit Lethality: Determines the amount of damage dealt by all units (25%, 50%, 100%, 150%, 200%)
  • Map Resources: Determines the amount of credits available from Oil deposits and Banks.
  • Starting resources: Determines the amount of credits available to each player at the start of the match (2500, 5000, 7500, 10000, 15000, 20000, 30000, 100000)
  • POW Generation: Determines whether if POWs could spawn or not.
  • Resource Harvesting Speed: Determines the amount of credits gained from each fully loaded tanker (Low/???, Average/$650, High/$800)
  • Share Resources: Determines whether if players have independent account balances or share it collectively with all others on the same team.
  • Allow Tactical Weapons: Determines the availability of Tactical weapons in general.
  • Allow Airstrikes: Determines the availability of Air control towers/Air force control tower/Aircraft control tower and their respective aircraft.
  • Allow Mercenaries: Determines the availability of Mercenaries (None, Official Mercenaries only, Official and Unofficial Mercenaries only, All Mercenaries)
  • Unit Cap: Limits the maximum amount of units available to any player (50, 100, 150, Unlimited)
  • Destroy enemy HQ: No additional Headquarters may be built (Task Force Talon can still produce Forward operations center), and losing it defeats the respective player.
  • POW Run: The first player to hold 50 POWs wins.
  • WMD Run: The first player with 10 units of Tactical weapons available for launch wins.
