Operation Under Cover is the eleventh mission of Act of War: Direct Action.

Objectives

Primary

• Jefferson must not die.: If Sergeant Major Jefferson is ever lost or captured, the mission will fail.
• Protect your constructors.: Protect your constructors to settle a base on the Fuel depot. In last resort take the US regular constructor to finish the base.
• Deploy a base next to the fuel depot: Once you've taken control of the fuel depot, deploy a Task Force Talon Headquarters, a Derrick, and a Refinery to begin oil extraction.
• Destroy the enemy infantry training area: Eliminate all enemy presence (units and structures) in the area northwest of your base. Hint: use Spinner Bomb Drones or Heavy Snipers to scout and clear up the concrete bunkers.
• Destroy enemy aircraft: The enemy is refueling his MiG-21 aircraft. Destroy as many of them as you can before they can take off!
• Evacuate the southern region: Quickly concentrate all your forces on the island. Set up defenses by building Sentry Turrets and use your Artillery to slow the enemy's advance. Hint: trying to defend the southern base may be very costly, but also generate many POWs. A tough trade-off.
• Defend your position: Sit tight and defend your position until reinforcements can arrive. Hint: repair your units with Task Force Repair FAT-Vs, and your Turrets with Drone Constructors or Excavators.
• Get Zakharov: Zakharov is near his Headquarters at the northern side of base. Launch your main attack on this position and capture him.

Secondary

• Rally the First Armored Division: Enter the First Armored Division's Base to bring them under your command
• Destroy the Chopper Pad: Take out the Chopper Pad in the center of the enemy base to shut down enemy Mi-35 HIND attacks.
• Destroy the SA-12 SAM launcher site: The enemy has an SA-12 SAM launcher operating in the northeast quadrant of your sector. Use ground forces to destroy the site and clear the way for allied air support.
• Free the American POWs: Free the American POWs and bring them back to your base.
• Destroy the enemy tactical weapon launch site: Dispatch units to scout the enemy base and find the tactical weapon launch site. Destroy it to prevent further attacks.
