THQ Nordic GmbH is an Austrian video game publisher based in Vienna and is the primary publishing arm of Embracer Group. Originally founded as Nordic Games in June 2011, the company was renamed to THQ Nordic in August 2016 after its parent company had acquired the "THQ" trademark in 2014.[1]
In September 2019, THQ Nordic acquired the Act of War franchise from Atari, since then becoming the main publishers for the series.[2][3]
