The Rawhide illegal mercenaries consists of three BM-30 Smerch multiple rocket launchers.[1]
They are very similar in function to the MLRS of the US Army, with a comparable range and firepower.
Oversight[]
Although in the manual and in-game, the Rawhide is stated to be a BM-30 Smerch, it appears instead to be a TOS-1 Buratino. This is likely an oversight by the developers. However in canon this could likely be that the Rawhide illegal mercenaries supply both BM-30s and TOS-1s.[2]
